We're Sim Local, the global leader in travel SIM card and eSIM retail. We enable consumers to avoid expensive roaming charges when travelling abroad – serving the vast global international travel market (1.37 billion international arrivals passengers in 2019).


Founded in 2011, our international retail footprint now stands at over 100 locations –comprising of retail shops in large hub airports, vending machines, shop-in-shop through affiliate partnerships all over the world.


Today, Sim Local is the largest pre-paid SIM card provider to the travel sector in Europe.

Job Description

To capitalise on this success – we are now expanding our offering to work with travel companies and developing a high street model

Digital Travel: Our UNITE platform is the world's largest SIM card and eSIM marketplace platform allowing travel companies to provide their customers with connectivity when they travel.


High Street: High Street partnerships are also a key growth area for our business. This role will be key in driving these partnerships.


We are looking to hire a Business Development Executive to help drive this success with our travel and high street prospects.

The objective of this role is to support the Sim Local sales process and help deliver success to the business. 

Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Build sales pipeline including market research, segmentation and qualifying of leads.

  • Drive revenue and market share for Sim Local through the development of a qualified sales pipeline.

  • Develop and execute a CRM strategy for B2B.

  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts and partners.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through feedback.

  • Works with the technology team to develop and keep relevant the product road map – matching customer feedback, market developments and anticipating competitor activity.

  • Create and manage BD collateral to ensure it is impactful and relevant.

  • Support the Leadership Team in all BD activities.


About You

You’ll be a recent graduate with 1-2 years-experience a B2B business development role or similar role. First and foremost we will focus on attitude and application.  This is an exciting opportunity to be exposed to a wide range of disciplines in a growing, entrepreneurial business – other areas we will look for:

  • Nice to Have: Travel Industry, Retail or Telecoms experience. SaaS sales experience. Working knowledge of CRM tools, ideally Hubspot

Location & Flexibility
This role can be based in our London or Dublin office. Whilst do offer flexible options around working from home we promote a hybrid working environment. We are happy to discuss individual needs. Please note – some travel will be required.
