iOS settings – QR Code

  1. In the settings on your device, select “Mobile Data”.
  2. Once you are in the “Mobile Data” screen, scroll down if necessary.
  3. Once you have done this, select “Add Data Plan”.
  4. Your device’s camera will open up on screen. Use the camera to scan the QR code.
  5. Scan the QR Code
  6. Your chosen network may also require a confirmation code to activate your eSIM.
  7. Select “Add Data Plan”.

iOS setting – Manual Input

  1. Go to the “Settings” app on your phone’s home screen
  2. Select “Mobile Data” from the menu (this can be recognised by its green icon)
  3. Select “Add Data Plan” which can be seen at the bottom of the list under the “Data Plan” heading (it is written in blue text)
  4. Next, your phone’s camera will open on the screen. Select “Enter Details Manually” which can be seen underneath the open camera screen on your phone
  5. Next you will be prompted to type in/copy and paste the SM-DP+ Address into the ‘SM-DP+ Address” field (?! It is currently missing due to a bug – SinglePoint are already aware of this)
  6. Next you will need to type the confirmation code into the “Confirmation Code” field to activate your eSIM
  7. You will be prompted to add data plan – you will need to click on the blue “Add Data Plan” button at the bottom of the phone’s screen
  8. Next you will be taken to the “Data Plan Labels” page where you will be prompted to select a label for your eSIM from a dropdown menu. Once you have selected a label, click on the blue ‘Continue’ button at the bottom of the screen
  9. You will then be prompted to select a “Default Line” which will be used to make phone calls and send messages. You will be given the choice of selecting either your primary SIM (which will be represented by your network or phone number on screen) or your new eSIM
  10. Next you will be prompted to select the data plan you wish to link to your iMessages, FaceTime and Apple ID. You will be given the choice of selecting either your primary SIM (which will be represented by your network or phone number on screen) or your new eSIM
  11. You will now be asked to choose the default line for your mobile data. You will be given the choice of selecting either your primary SIM (which will be represented by your network or phone number on screen) or your new eSIM. Once you have selected between the two option, you will need to click the blue ‘Done’ button at the bottom of your screen
  12. You can now begin to use your eSIM
