JudoPay and PayPal are our 3rd party service providers and they will capture your personal information via the Sim Local website when you purchase an item.
JudoPay will seek to collect payment details including credit card details such as credit card holder name, credit card number, credit card expiry date and the card security code.
PayPal will seek to collect payment details including credit card details such as credit card holder name, credit card number, credit card expiry date and the card security code.
Why we process your personal information?
Where and how we keep your data
Data held and processed by Sim Local in the UK and Ireland is stored on secure cloud-based servers hosted by Amazon Web Services in the EEA (primary & backup).
Retention of personal information
- Our policy is to retain Personal Information provided to us for as long as it may be required to comply with our legal obligations.
- When no longer required we securely delete the information from our servers.
- We will carry out these procedures at an earlier date if you so request unless we are legally prohibited from doing so.
Rights regarding your personal information
You have the following rights in respect of any personal data we hold, what it gets used for and request a copy of that personal data.
- Request confirmation of what personal data we hold for you
- Request that we correct any errors, omissions, or outdated data
- Request that we no longer use the information for specific purposes, such as to contact you
- Request that we restrict our use of your data
- Request that your data be deleted altogether from our records
