GDPR Data Deletion Request
If you would like us to delete your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you may submit a data deletion request at any time.
Users With an Account
If you have an active account and would like your personal data deleted:
- Go to our Online Shop or open our mobile app.
- On the menu at the top of the page, select 'My Account'.
- On the ‘My Account’ page, you must login to your account
- After a successful login on the ‘My Account’ page, at the bottom of the page you must select the 'Delete Account' link.
- You must enter your email address & select ‘Delete’ to confirm to want your account & all personal data deleted.
- Once submitted, your request will be processed in accordance with applicable GDPR requirements.
Important:
- Account deletion may result in the permanent loss of access to services, purchase history, and other account-related information.
- Certain data may be retained where required by law, regulatory obligations, fraud prevention, or legitimate business purposes.
If you experience any issues, please contact our support team and provide the email address associated with your account.
Users Without an Account
If you do not have an account but believe we may hold your personal data:
- Please contact us by email at: dataprotection@simlocal.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
- Include:
- Your full name
- Email address(es) used when interacting with us
- Any additional information that may help us identify your records (e.g., order number, transaction reference, support ticket number)
- For security purposes, we may request additional information to verify your identity before processing your request.
- Once your identity has been verified, we will review and process your request in accordance with GDPR requirements.
Important:
- We may be unable to delete data if we cannot verify your identity or locate matching records.
- Certain information may need to be retained to comply with legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations.

What Happens Next
Once your identity has been verified, we will:
- Delete your personal data from our active systems where legally permissible.
- Notify you when the deletion process has been completed.
- Respond to your request within the timeframe required by applicable data protection laws.
Exceptions
Please note that we may retain certain information where required by law, for legitimate business purposes, or to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or prevent fraud.
