SIM LOCAL OPENS LATEST RETAIL STORE AT BRUSSELS AIRPORT
Sim Local, the largest seller of SIM cards in the UK travel market, has opened a brand-new retail store at Brussels Airport in Belgium.
The new store is located in baggage reclaim and is Sim Local’s first stand-alone store outside of the UK & Ireland. International travellers can purchase SIM cards offering great value EU roaming data plans from Orange, Proximus and Lyca to allow them to stay seamlessly connected whilst in Europe, without incurring additional roaming charges.
The store will also carry an extensive range of accessories from Panzer Glass and Skross with fully trained staff on hand to help customers select the right offer and products to suit their needs.
Ian Rankin, Chief Trading Officer at Sim Local, comments: “We are delighted to be opening the doors to our Belgian store and are looking forward to serving passengers arriving at Brussels airport. Our growing portfolio of stores, vending machines and shop-in-shop concepts is well-poised to capitalise on the return to international travel and we continue to look for opportunities to grow our existing estate.”
Frédérique Ringoot, Retail Manager at Brussels Airport, adds: “Sim Local’s offering is one that we believe is an excellent addition to our current retail portfolio, and provides a product and service that intercontinental travellers will value highly. We are looking forward to working with them as they embark on their journey with us.”
